Hey there all.
Well we are finally back from CHA Winter and what a whirlwind it has been.
So much to say and tell, where do I begin.
Start at the beginning. We all had a great time on our family vacation. Only a few dramas to report (like our courier company not turning up with the box required to pack all our stock to send to Anaheim ready for the convention)...aaaaggghhh. We found an alternative (luckily). Gotta love Pack n Send at Mermaid Beach. The owners and staff were lovely and very eager to put a smile on my face, so thankyou all that assisted. We couldnt have done it without you.
Kids had a great time at the Hotel, the beach and Dreamworld (Wiggle world was great for the two days prior as a bribe). I have included a couple of photos here.

After a week of sun, sand and surf it was time to leave for CHA. Walter and I stayed in Anaheim the first few days and then at Newport Beach (which was gorgeous) however we didnt get much time to explore as we had to prepare our booth prior to the show.
What a learning curve it has been for us. A wonderful experience and got to share it with so many BEAUTIFUL people. We had some wonderful people around us at the show. Our friends Diane and Heather - the zany American Photographers who supplied us with a constant stream of great music to get us through the day. (Check out Heathers website at www.reflectionsbyheather.com. What wonderful photographers these guys are...and they travel. I told Diane and Heather I would get them out to Australia eventually so if anyone wants great great photographers that will travel, these are your girls!). The Shalom Scrappers (gorgeous Jason and Rachel), who supplied us with great tips, laughs and awesome dance moves to keep us smiling and get us through the intense days. (Jason and Rachel have designed and produced their own line of Jewish Scrapbook papers, die cuts etc so if anyone out there needs their products go to their website at www.shalomscrapper.com. You can order online and these are truly wonderful people. You will get your order and you will be most impressed as their designs, cardstock and quality is second to none.
We also caught up with many of the media from magazines from the USA, Canada & Australia. Our own Julia, the Editor of For Keeps was there and we had a lovely chat. It was great to meet you Julia.
Another wonderful woman I had the pleasure of meeting was Debbie Hanni from CK Media. What an absolutely beautiful person. I am so priveledged to have met you Debbie and your support of our products didnt go unnoticed. It was like catching up with an old friend.
Another wonderful woman I had the pleasure of meeting was a Freelance journalist named Linda. Again what a wonderful woman. When she walked down the hall way the last day of the show it was as if an old friend was coming to meet up one last time to say goodbye and goodluck. I will never forget you my friend.
I had the pleasure of catching up with Elsie again (after the paperarts festival in November last year). She is such a great girl, so much talent and spunk. Her line at KI memories is AWESOME. You girls MUST get some of this product. Its beautiful.
I also had the pleasure of finally meeting Sally of Delish Designs. What an awesome lady. Her booth was SPECTACULAR and we had a great chat about the "Australian" side of CHA which was very funny. I wish her lots of luck and love, it was great to see so many Aussies strutting their stuff amongst the Americans and doing a wonderful job.
I have added some pics here of our booth, Elsie and I etc. Hope you enjoy them. Will post more tomorrow as I have some pics of Diane and Heather, Rachel and Jason , Linda and I and Debbie , Sally and I that I will share also.
We had a great response to our first launch with many wonderful comments about our company and our products. To see the range go to the website www.blueyedezines.com.au and the catalogue is available to peruse and download. I have to admit I was very excited when I saw that we had almost the same wide felt ribbon as Queen & Co. I knew I had found a winner with this product and that confirmed that we were onto something. Keep a lookout on the website for further product releases and updates. Hopefully you will have our products in your stores soon. If you dont, keep asking.
Lastly I would love to say a huge HUG, KISS & THANKYOU to my girl Ngaire. For those of you that dont know, Ngaire has played a HUGE part in inspiring me to live my best life (as my girl Oprah puts it) and pursue my dreams and without her words of encour agement and support I may not have made it here...so thankyou my dear girl. You are a shining star full of love and light and we wish you all the love, happiness and success you deserve. Keep a lookout on the web for Ngaires designs as she has agreed to design some pages with our new line.
Love to you all, heres hoping you enjoy our products. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and can be sent to info@blueyedezines.com.au.
There will be lots more to report as the days fly by.
